Maritime TV 'Ask the Administrator'

‘Ask the Administrator’ is a Maritime TV series of pre-recorded interviews with Acting Maritime Administrator Paul “Chip” Jaenichen at various locations around the country and Washington D.C.

An initial pre-recorded interview was requested and produced in Washington D.C. in February of 2014 and was well-received by the industry (click here to view). Because of the positive response, the decision was made to request a follow-on series of interviews with the Administrator in different maritime industry subject-matter areas. The next interview was related to Maritime Training and Education, and was produced on June 21, 2014 at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, N.Y. The third interview in the series addressed Inland Waterways and Marine Highways and was be produced aboard the M/V Donna Rushing near the AEP River Operations facility in Paducah Kentucky on July 17, 2014. Subsequent interviews in the ‘Ask the Administrator’ Series are now being scheduled for the remainder of 2014 and will be announced shortly.

Each of these next interviews in the ‘Ask the Administrator‘ series will be available shortly after their production dates at this on-demand webcast site on Maritime TV.
