THE 2025 SALUTE TO CONGRESS TO HONOR Congressman Rick Larsen

The International Propeller Club will recognize Congressman Rick Larsen’s leadership at the 41st annual “Frank Courtenay Salute to Congress” award dinner on May 14, 2025, at the Army Navy Country Club, 1700 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, Virginia. The reception will begin at 6:00 PM, and dinner will begin at 7:30 PM.

Congressman Larsen has represented Washington State’s Second Congressional District since 2001. His district includes portions of Snohomish County and all of Skagit, Whatcom, Island, and San Juan counties in Northwest Washington.

Representative Rick Larsen has been serving as Ranking Member of the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure since the 118th Congress and has served on the Committee since arriving in the House in 2001. The Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure, the largest Committee in Congress by membership, has broad jurisdiction over the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Coast Guard, Amtrak, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the General Services Administration, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Economic Development Administration and other agencies.

As the Democratic leader of the Committee, Ranking Member Larsen, who represents Washington’s Second Congressional District, is focused on investing in infrastructure to create good-paying jobs, keep people and the economy moving and build a cleaner, greener, safer and more accessible transportation network. From the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 to his work now in the 119th Congress, Ranking Member Larsen continues to fight for robust investments in infrastructure.

Larsen was born and raised in Arlington, Washington. Rick and his wife, Tiia, live in Everett, Washington, and are the proud parents of two sons, Robert and Per.
